Lum's was a popular restaurant chain founded in 1956 which became famous for their Beer-Steamed Hot Dogs and something they called the Ollieburger, which was a heavily seasoned, secret-recipe beef patty that over the years gained a cult following.
Lum's had 400 nationwide restaurants at their peak before selling the company in 1978. By 1982, the chain was forced into bankruptcy and closed all of its locations.
This art print depicts a Lum's restaurant on a busy night in the 1970s.
