I love the term "juke joint" and all of the connotations that is brings. Juke joints were an integral part in the birth and growth of the Blues and The Blue Front Cafe is one of the oldest in the country.
The Blue Front Café opened in 1948 in Bentonia, Mississippi and was known for its buffalo fish, blues music and moonshine whiskey. The Blue Front is located on Highway 49 and is still operating to this day.
