Ground Zero Blues Club opened in 2001, located near the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
The building had originally housed the wholesale Delta Grocery and Cotton Co. and had been vacant for thirty years. When the club opened, the decision was made to repurpose whatever was in the building and it would remain un-remodeled. As a result, the club is filled with mismatched chairs, Christmas-tree lights and graffiti.
The club hosts regular blues shows giving local musicians a chance to perform regularly.
