Sailor Stan's restaurant in Gloucester was a small breakfast diner-style restaurant which opened in 1977. Prior to Sailor Stan's it was Peter's Luncheonette which had been serving the area since the 1940's. Sailor Stan's was known for their colorful interior and decor and was a neighborhood favorite for decades. The business closed down and the building recently sold and hopefully the new owners have plans to revitalize the restaurant.
