Cafe Wha? is an iconic music club located on MacDougal Street in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.  The club opened in 1959 and played a critical role in the history of rock and folk music having presented dozens of now legendary musicians and comedians during the early years of their careers.

Acts include Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen,  and the Velvet Underground, along with comedians Woody Allen, Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor.
